After the Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni imposed a lockdown on the country as a result of the Corona virus pandemic.
The Ugandan police and other security officials have been tasked with enforcing the curfew and one of the incidents that took place recently was at the Elegu border where police men allegedly kicked doors open and pulled out women and men forcing them to drag themselves in mud and on top of caning and beating them up in the bums and buttocks. Some of the photos that went viral are as follows.
President Museveni condemned the act and said that the police men who committed such acts would be dealt with.
