UGANDAN PRESIDENT YOWERI MUSEVENI HAS ORDERED SCHOOLS AND CHURCHS TO CLOSE AS THE CORONA VIRUS EPIDEMIC CONTINUES TO SPREAD AROUND AFRICA

As the deadly Corona Virus epidemic continues to spread rapidly across the different parts of Africa. The Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has ordered all the schools around the country including all tertiary institutions to close down by Friday.



The Ugandan president also banned all gatherings including churches and mosques saying that the media should give airtime to religious leaders to preach the word over their stations. Gatherings like nightclubs and drinking places have all been stopped.

So far Uganda has not yet registered any Corona virus case but all the other East African countries have including Kenya, Tanzania and even Rwanda.
