HOW TO PREPARE MILK BREAD AT HOME

 This special kind of bread is made using a unique technique that iam going to demonstrate to you very soon.

If you make this kind of bread once at home, then you will never be willing to buy bread again from the supermarket ever.

Ingredients

- A cup of milk

- A cup of all purpose flour

- A quarter a cup of sugar

-2 tablespoons of yeast

-2 eggs that have been beaten

-4 tablespoons of margarine

- Egg wash which is formed by beating an egg and a tablespoon of water added.

Method

1. Combine the milk and the flour to make the starter and then stir it over a medium flame just until it has warmed up and has been able to mix completely with the milk.

2. Add the sugar, flour and yeast into the bowl and then stir it for sometime.

3. Add the margarine and then use a fork or even just your palms to mix it into the flour. The flour will soon now resemble the bread crumbs.

4. Add the milk, eggs and also the starter and then mix them together. When the dough has been formed, then remove it from the bowl and place it on a clean work surface. Knead the dough for about 10 to 15 minutes using your palms. The dough has to be kneaded well for a soft milk bread. Make sure that you add some flour when the dough is too sticky until it is not too sticky.

5. Put the dough in a large bowl  and then cover it with a cling of film. Allow it to rise in a warm place for about an hour or until it has been able to double in size.

6. Start punching down the dough and then knead it for about 1 to 2 minutes. Divide up the dough into about 8 equal parts, make use of a weighing scale so that it can help you to get the buns that are of equal sizes.

7. Grease up the square baking pan properly and then put the dough in the pan. I decided to put four pieces in the pan. Cover it up lightly with a warm film before putting it aside in a warm place so that it can rise for about 30 minutes. The dough will also double in size again.

8. Using the egg wash, brush up the dough and then bake it up in an oven that has been preheated at a temperature of 180 degrees centigrade for about 35 to 40 minutes. Allow it to cool completely and then serve to enjoy.
