This year is ending soon, the year 2019 is done and gone.
If this has been a great year for you, then congratulations to you and on the otherside if it has not been a good year for you, do not lose hope, you are still alive and can be in position to make the coming year 2020 a great year for yourself.
Here are the tips that will help ou to achieve your goals in the year 2020.
1. Avoid setting unrealistic goals
This is the time when most people start setting goals for themselves and it is actually a good thing to set goals.
Setting goals helps give you a sense of direction in your life so that you actually know where you are heading and the actions that you should take in order to achieve the goals and accomplish things that you have always wanted to do.
While trying to set goals, avoid setting unrealistic goals that will just discourage you instead.
Something like making a billion dollars in the first week of the year could prove impossible and instead demotivate you when you truly know that you have less than a thousand dollars in your bank account and are not taking any meaningful action at the moment to improve your financial situation.
2. Use a timer to organize yourself
If you are working from home, then it will be good if you use a timer to help manage your time.
Before you start working on a project or job put a side a timer that has been set for an hour and then start working on that project or job and when that time has clocked, stop working and take some time off to relax and stretch.
This will help relieve you of stress and keep you healthy.
3. Take good care of yourself
Most times we are busy taking very good care of other people and then we forget to actually take care of ourselves. I urge you to start considering yourself important and start taking steps to take care of yourself.
Start doing the things that you have always wanted to do and once in a while take yourself out for concerts and drinks with your friends.
Spend more time with people who make you happy.
4. Spend less time on socialmedia
In this digital age, most people are spending more time looking at their screens than looking at other people's faces.
You reduce the amount of time you spend on Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms out there. You can spend more time reading books, taking walks and many other things out there.
5. Ask for help
You cannot do everything yourself and there comes a time in your life when you actually need some sort of help. That is when others come in to give you a helping hand.
There are many people out there who are willing to offer a helping hand if you can just ask for it.
