RWANDAN GOVERNMENT EXPELS 23 UGANDANS AS THE RIFT BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES CONTINUES

 Rwandan government has decided to expell 23 Ugandans under unclear circumstances.  The expulsion of the Ugandan citizens was confirmed by the Resident District Commissioner of Kisoro called Mr. Peter Mugisha.

 

According to the RDC, the 23 Ugandans were picked up from their places of work and then dumped at the Kanika border Post found in Kisoro district by the Rwandan authorities.

 The Ugandans were working on road construction sites in Rwanda and they hailed from Tororo and Nebbi districts in Uganda.  The Rwandan authorities didnot give the reasons why they expelled the Ugandans.
