FOUR PEOPLE DIED DURING THE ANT- UN PROTESTS THAT TOOK PLACE IN EASTERN DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO
Four people have died after protests erupted in the eastern part of Democratic Republic of Congo as a result of the anti- UN protests that were organised as a result of the dissatisfaction from the public over the failure of the UN to protect them from the Allied Democratic Forces operating in the region.
Dozens of people went onto the streets and set up fires that destroyed property in the UN camp.
As a result of the protests, four people were shot dead and investigators continue to find out where the guns were fired from.
