TIPS FOR PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO ARE BEGINNING TO TAKE ON PHOTOGRAPHY AS A CAREER

 Are you new to photography and do you have a strong passion for the art of photography? Then this is for you.

When you have a strong passion for photography and you are willing to take it on as a career, then there are certain things that you should look at if you are going to succeed in your new career as a photographer.

 Today i bring you some tips on how you can become a better photographer with time.

1.  Do not try to buy the most expensive equipment

 Most times new photographers would like to buy very expensive equipment with the hope that the more expensive an equipment is, then the better it is but this is actually not true.

You can take nice photos with equipment that is actually not expensive.

When you continue taking more and more photos, in the long run you will be able to know the kind of camera you need to take particular shots.

2. Make sure that you get a tripod
 
 A tripod is important especially for those who are beginners in photography. If you have shaky hands like mine, having a tripod will help you alot to ensure that you take photos that are positioned properly.

You can get yourself an inexpensive tripod that will add value to your photography.

You can also use your camera's timer function alongside the tripod in order to be able get more stability while taking photos.

3. Ensure that you always have  your camera with you

Making sure that you have your camera with you will add alot of value to your photography.

You can never know when you can get an inspiration for taking some nice photos and if you do not want to miss out on some of these unexpected opportunities that you would like to point your camera license to then ensure that you have a simple camera and tripod that you go along with.

 If you have a phone that has a camera, you can also use to to take notes or scenes that you would like to return to one time and take some nice pictures at.

4. Write down the list of shots that you would like to take.

 If you find out that you are not able to move around with your camera, you should take along with you a notebook that you can use to write down some of the scenes that you would love to come back and take and you can even add some of the details that you want to increase like lightning when the weather is right.

5. Make sure that you enjoy the learning process
 
The good thing with having a hobby like photography is the fact that you can not run out of interesting things that you can learn and immerse yourself into.

When you take a look at the things that are surrounding you with the eyes of photography, you will discover some of the interesting shots that you can take.

6. Start experimenting with your camera's settings
 
  If you can start experimenting with your camera's settings, you can be able to discover some interesting effects that you like as you try out multiple settings for different photoshoots.

When you are checking out your photos on a computer you can know the settings that you used by checking out EXIF data that is found usually in the file properties.

7. Ensure that you learn the basics about photography

 
One of the most important things that new photographers should do to grow in the world of photography is to ensure that they learn the basics of the art of photography.

Start by checking out some articles on composition and then try to learn from other experienced photographers out there picking up their techniques and tips. If you know the rules, then you will know when you break them.

8. Make sure that you take photos regularly

 
 If you are going to get good at photography, nothing beats practice. You will need to photograph something each and everyday.

This means that you need to use your camera everyday so that you do not forget some of the techniques and skills that you have learnt.

If you cannot do it everyday, make sure that you do it regularly.
