HOW TO COOK CHICKEN AND RICE SOUP

 If you love chicken and rice then you will enjoy this delicious recipe called chicken and rice soup where the rice will be cooked in the soup so that it can be able to absorb all the flavours inside the soup.

Today i will teach you how you can prepare this delicious meal.

Ingredients

 
- A pound of skinless and boneless chicken thighs that have been chopped

- 2 talblespoons of Virgin Olive Oil

- 1 medium onion that has been chopped

-1 tablespoon of minced garlic

-2 tablespoons of bouillon powder

- 2 chopped medium carrots

- Freshly ground black pepper and salt

-Parsely for garnishing

- 1 bay leaf

Method
 
1. Put some chunks of chicken into a large bowl and then add some salt,black pepper and then put it aside.

2. In a large pot, add some oil and heat it. Place the chunks of chicken into it and allow them to boil for  a few minutes until they have turned brown.

3. Now add the chopped onions, garlic, bouillon powder and some bay leaf into it.

4. Allow it to cook for about 6 minutes until the vegetables have become soft but have not turned brown and then stir it.

5.  Pour some water or chicken broth and allow it to boil for sometime before adding the rice, carrot, and then seasoning all this with salt and black pepper.

6. Allow it to cook for about 20 minutes in a medium low heat until the rice has become tender.

7. Lastly, garnish it with parsely and the serve it while still warm.
