GEN. ELLY TUMWINE HAS SAID THAT SFC AND THE ISO CHIEFS WILL NOT APPEAR BEFORE THE PARLIAMENTARY COMMITTEE WHEN SUMMONED

Following the investigations in the security issues happening in the country, the Minister for security Gen. Elly Tumwine has claimed that parliament is wasting it's time summoning ISO and SFC officials simply because they will not show up.
 

The minister was sitting with the comittee on the Human rights at parliament. He said that James Birungi who is the head of SFC will not show up infront of the comittee.

This comes after the head of SFC James Birungi and Iso Head Kaka were summoned by the comittee to come and comment about the presence of safe houses in Uganda.
