Solomon Serwanja is a Ugandan journalist and television personality who has been a news anchor at NTV Uganda which is owned by Nation Media Group and currently he is working at NBS television owned by Next Media services Limited.
He is currently a news anchor at the television station and also hosts a morning show called the Media round table where they discuss things that have taken place throughout the week interms of politics and other social events.
Solomon Serwanja was born in the central region of Uganda in a place called Abayita Ababiri in Entebbe which is found in Wakiso district in the year 1986.
He was born at home since her mother was heavily pregnant and she could not be able to make it to the hospital in time.Unfortunately his mother passed away in the year 2012.
Solomon Serwanja grew up with her grandmother who used to pamper him very much.
His grandmother would buy for him bread and other snacks on her way home and would give all these things to him to eat. He is the last born in their family.
Her grandmother used to work at Mulago hospital as a nurse at the time and they lived at a place called Ntinda which is a Kampala suburb.
After completing his primary school education, Solomon Serwanja went to a boarding secondary school to obtain his secondary school education and he did sciences at Advanced level which was a combination of Physics, Chemistry and Biology commonly known as PCB.
After completing his secondary school education, Solomon Serwanja joined Makerere University. Having completed his course, he joined NTV Uganda as a news reporter and was later assigned the duties of becoming a news anchor.
He worked at NTV Uganda for about five years before landing another job at NBS television where he is currently a news anchor and the host of a television show called The Media round table.
Solomon Serwanja is married to a woman called Vivian and they have two children together.
He is an inspiration to all the youths out there who are planning to join the world of media and journalism and taking it as a career.
