MBALE WOMAN MP HAS BEEN ARRESTED FOR ORGANISING CITY STATUS PROTEST


The woman Member of Parliament for Mbale Municipality has been arrested for organising a protest over Mbale's city status.

The woman MP who is called Connie Nakayenze organised a protest against the decision of the Ugandan cabinet to postpone the city status of Mbale Municipality.

Ms Galiwango was intercepted on Republic street in Mbale district by the police as she moved with Placards by the Police. According to her Mbale deserves city status now and not 2021.
