Nadia Nakai Kandava who is popularly known as Nadia Nakai is a South African rapper and Songwriter who has become very popular for her musical success. Nadia Nakai was born in the month of May on 18th and in the year 1990.
Her father is a South African while her mother is from Zimbabwe. Although Nadia Nakai was born and given the name Nadia Dlamini, she later decided to change her name to her mother's surname when the reached the age of sixteen.
Nadia Nakai went to Four ways High school which is found in South Africa and she studied there for one year and later travelled to Kenya.
While in Kenya, she was able to complete her studies. After completing her highschool studies in Kenya, she Joined Monash University which is found in Johannesburg in South Africa.
While at Monash University, she studied Marketing, communication and also Media studies.
In the year 2014, Nadia appeared on Ricky Rick's song called Amantombaze where by they were working on the remix of the song and they worked alongside other hip-hop artists like Kwesta, Ginger Trill, Kid X and others.
That song was later nominated for the South African Hip hop award for song of the year. In the year 2015 Nadia appeared in Dj slique's Metro FM award single that was released and was called Do like i do.
Nadia later worked with Nigerian music artist called Ice Prince on a song called Saka Wena and the song was later nominated as the best collaboration award for the South African hip hop awards.
Later on Nadia worked on another single called "Best" that featured M.I popularly known as Agaba and Kenyan female music artist Victoria Kimani and the song was received positively by the fans.
In the early months of 2016, Nadia Nakai was able to appear on the Magazine cover of Zkhiphani.com Magazine. Some of the songs that Nadia Nakai worked on her as follows Like Me, Whatever, Bragga, Money calling, Don't cut it and many other songs.
Nadia Nakai is one of the most influencial and inspirational female music artists in South Africa whose music has touched very many lives not only in South Africa but across African continent.
She is an inspiration to all the women and youths out there that it is very possible to achieve the most important goals of your life.
