Irene Pancras Uwoya who is popularly known as Irene Uwoya is a Tanzanian movie actress and also a movie director.
She was born on 18th of December in the year 1988 in a place called Dodoma which is found in Tanzania.
Irene Uwoya attended Mlimwa primary school where she obtained her primary school education.
After completing her primary school education, she joined Bunge high school which is found in Dares salaam where she obtained her secondary school education at the ordinary level.
She then transferred to Uganda and joined Greenville High School where she studied for her advanced level of education which is found in Kampala the capital city of Uganda.
After completing her secondary school education, Irene Uwoya went back to Tanzania and joined the University of Dar es salaam.
In 2006, Irene Uwoya joined the Miss Tanzania competition and among some of the contestants was Wema Sepetu and the beauty contest was later won by Wema Sepetu.
In 2017, Irene Uwoya got married to a Rwandan football player who is called Hamad Katauti Ndikumana who was the captain of the Rwandan football team but unfortanely he passed on.
By the time this Rwandan footballer who is called Hamad Katauti Ndikumana died, the couple had separated and broken up after the allegations that Irene Uwoya was now dating the Tanzanian music artist who is called Diamond Platinumz.
In 2011, Irene Uwoya gave birth to her first child who is called Krish. In 2017, in the month of September, Irene Uwoya got married to the bongo flava music star who is called Abdulaziz Chande who is popularly known as Dogo Janja in a private wedding ceremony that took place at Mbezi beach in Tanzania.
The Swahili white wedding ceremony was an invite only affair although most people claimed that it was just a publicity stunt to help Irene Uwoya to promote her new upcoming movie at the time.
According to Dogo Janja who was appearing on a radio station for an interview, he does not want to put his private life in the eyes of the public and he cleared the air by saying that they truly got married and that the public should pray for them so that their marriage can last.
He said that very many people have despised his marriage because he married who is more than five years older than him but according to the Islamic faith, Prophet Muhammad married khadija who was fifteen years older than the prophet and therefore he is not wrong to marry his lovely wife.
He then changed the topic of discussion by saying that they should be talking about his new music and his upcoming projects.
And for the case of his wife, he said that she should be talking about her movies and other movie projects that are coming up.
