Popular Nigerian actress and film maker Omotola Jalade has been honoured
by the United Nations for her work in influencing people around the world. The Nollywood
actress was unveiled as one of the most influential 100 people who are of the
African descent.
She was honoured in New York city during the opening of the 73rd UN General Assembly.
The award is used to
distinguish influential people who are of African origin. The excited actress
announced her achievements on social media.
