There was panic at Old Kampala Mosque on Friday when a group of people
who claim to be in the people power movement stormed the mosque during prayers
which were organised for peace and stability in the country by Mufti Sheikh Ramadhan Mubajje.
This follows
the killing of Muslim clerics that took place around the country and also the
muslims who have been locked up in Prisons over various crimes that they
allegedly committed.
The rival groups in
the Mosque accused those of People power movement who wore red and the one
people one Uganda of politicising the prayers although the wrangles did not end
up into fights in the mosque.
